Who We Are
Division 9 Specialty Inc. has been operating since 2015 and is a union, C-2 licensed contractor (license #1003305). Experienced in completing projects which include public and private work, centered in contracts with school districts, local businesses, and tenant improvements.
Work areas include; San Francisco, East Bay Area, North Bay Area and South Bay Area.
What We Do
Our specialties include suspended acoustical ceilings, metal wall panels, backboard wall panels, linear metal ceilings, wood ceiling and wood wall panels, and acoustical wall and ceiling panels.
Key Personnel
Owner, Justin Hume, has more than two decades of experience within the industry, having completed trade school prior to 2000 followed by years of working under local leaders within the trade as a Journeyman Carpenter, Foreman, Estimator, and Project Manager. Thankful for the knowledge and skills gained from his colleagues, many of whom are reaching retirement age Hume saw a need to fill within the local industry and stepped out on his own to create Division 9 Specialty. Since 2015, Hume has managed the development of Division 9, the day to day operations, estimating, and project management. Drawing daily on his more than two decades of experience.
